The overall objective of the report titled ‘The State of Arab Cities Report 2022: Financing Urban Infrastructure to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the New Urban Agenda’ is to investigate the challenges encountering the urban economic and financial frameworks of Arab countries at the regional, national, and local levels, including how they have been impacted by COVID-19 and how to unleash their growth potential and stimulate their prosperity.
Derasat Center and the United Nations Development Programme published two research papers titled, “The Impact of COVID-19 on Women in Bahrain”, and “Bahraini Women and Remote Work”; prepared by Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Ubaydli, Derasat Director of Studies and Research, and Ms. Deema Al-Moayyed, UNDP researcher.

The paper examines the incidence of area studies departments/programs in the GCC and US, and their role in the foreign policy of each country.
The report highlights the major issues discussed during the roundtable and presents a series of recommendations targeting dentistry and policymakers.
Derasat is participated at the Trends Virtual Book Fair, which is was held from January 24th to 7th February, 2021.
