Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa participated in the seventh Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate held annually by the Emirates Policy Center titled, ‘“Deciphering the Hyper-Real: The New World Order” which was held over 3 days  from November 9 – 11, 2020″. In the Tuesday 10th session titled, ‘U.A.E – Israel Treaty: The New Middle East – The Gulf: Recalculations’, Dr. Abdulla Al Khalifa noted that the geopolitical map of the distribution of power in the Middle East region has changed in the last decade, due to instability, internal conflicts, insecurity and economic stagnation in many countries, and the moderate Gulf states have emerged to lead the region towards stability and prosperity, through their pioneering role in combating terrorism, and adopting visions of reform, modernization and technological progress, as well as moving forward in the approach of understanding and peace.

The Forum was moderated by Dr. Ebtsiem Al Ketbi, President of EPC and attended by Maj. Gen. (ret) Amos Yadlin, President of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS, Israel) and Dr. Albadr Alshateri, former Professor, National Defence College, Abu Dhabi.
