The Arab Gulf countries have attached great importance to disaster management at the collective Gulf level, including the establishment of the Emergency Management Center in the Gulf Cooperation Council, which aims to deal with natural and environmental disasters and support decision-makers with scientific facts before, during and after these incidents to take appropriate measures to reduce the effects of these disasters, and at the level of each Gulf country separately through the establishment of many institutions related to crisis and disaster management in those countries.
