The fourth Derasat forum dedicated its second day to discuss “Food Security: Gulf and Regional Experiences”, with the participation of a number of officials and specialists who highlighted food security as their countries experimented with this challenge.
The inaugural session of the fourth Derasat forum shed light on the visions of the legislative and executive branches, and highlighted food security issues, where speakers discussed the most important ways to achieve food security for Bahrain and the Gulf Arab States.
The fourth Derasat forum to commence online on Monday, June 21st 2021, under the title of “Strategies to Attain Food Security: Challenges and Opportunities”.
The Fourth Derasat Forum will host officials and experts in the field of food security in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad to study the options, alternatives, supply chains and opportunities available to meet food security requirements as an important component of national security.
