Following the recent opening in Egypt of the largest military base on the Red Sea, Dr. Ashraf Keshk examines the reasoning behind the new base and its likely contribution to national and regional security.

Ambassador Michele Cervone d’Urso, Head of European Union Delegation to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman, was received by the Chairman of Derasat, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa who affirmed the importance of strengthening relations between the Kingdom and the European Union countries.
