زار وفدٌ مُشتركٌ من مجلسي النواب والشيوخ الأمريكيين مركز البحرين للدراسات الاستراتيجية والدولية والطاقة "دراسات"، يوم الأحد 24 نوفمبر 2024م، حيث كان في استقبالهم كُلًا من الدكتور عُمر أحمد العبيدلي، مدير إدارة الدراسات والبحوث، والشيخة نيلة بنت علي آل خليفة، مديرة إدارة الاتصال والمعرفة، وعددٌ من باحثي المركز.

وخلال الزيارة تلقى الوفدُ شرحًا حول أبرز أنشطة، وإصدارات، وإنجازات المركز، قدمها الدكتور العبيدلي، فضلًا عن مُساهماته البحثية في شتى المجالات والتخصصات، وتبع ذلك حوارٌ مفتوحٌ بين الجانبين حول أبرز التطورات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.

A joint delegation from the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate visited the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) on Sunday, 24 November 2024. They were received by Dr. Omar Ahmad Al-Ubaydli, Director of the Studies and Research Directorate, and Shaikha Nayla bint Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Communications and Knowledge Management Directorate, along with members of the Center’s research staff.

During the visit, the delegation received an overview of the Center’s most prominent activities, publications, and achievements, presented by Dr. Al-Ubaydli, as well as its research contributions in various fields and specializations. This was followed by an open dialogue between the two sides regarding the most significant developments in the regional and international arenas.
