His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat), affirmed that the launch of “Tree Week” as part of the national action plan for achieving carbon neutrality, announced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, with the pioneering initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, represents a strong boost to national efforts to raise community awareness by expanding green spaces and protecting the environment, supporting the goals of sustainable development.
