Sh. Nayla Al Khalifa has been the Director of Communications and Knowledge Management since 2018. An experienced communications strategist, she possesses extensive professional management experience across both the public and private sectors. Nayla has been actively engaged in community, government, and media relations, as well as corporate communications, events and communications planning, and crisis management. 

Before her tenure at Derasat, Nayla held various leading roles within the Central Bank of Bahrain, contributing significantly to national media relations efforts for multiple government projects. With 14 years of experience in Central Banking Communications, she has provided PR counsel for major financial and strategic events both in Bahrain and internationally. Nayla earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a Minor in Psychology from Regent’s University UK, where she completed her thesis on cultural differences in marketing.
